There are currently 18 traditional structures open to the public in Masuda Town. Three of these (Hinomaru Jozo, Sato Tasaburo House and Shunsai Miso Chaya Kurawo) are open to the public on an advance reservation basis. Please telephone these facilities directly to make a reservation. The Old Murata Pharmacy and Masukawa Shop are only open on Saturdays and Sundays, so please telephone these facilities directly to inquire about access on public holidays and weekdays.

It takes about 20 minutes to tour one kura. It is possible to tour about two to three kura in one hour and about four to five kura in two hours.
Please use the lockers in the Community Lounge in front of the bus stop in Masuda Nakamachi. You will need to put in 100 yen when leaving your baggage, but you will get this back when you return.
